Yep! Ladybugs are good luck!

Yep, the lady bug sightings were good luck-- I got new pictures this week. It's always such a thrill to see my baby girl's beautiful face! Come on courts......

Lady Bugs everywhere!!

I keep seeing lady bugs everywhere. Lady bug jewelry, shirts, shoes, pictures, hearing others speak of them, etc....

Is it a sign that good things are to come with the adoption...I hope so.

Of course it is summertime and lady bugs go with summer--but lady bugs also signal good luck in the adoption world--so maybe......hmmm

My biggest prayers right now:

1. That all the orphans of the world feels God's love and presence while they wait for thier forever families.

2. God provides smooth and safe travels to those families traveling to thier babies.

3. Peaceful waits for those families still waiting for paperwork, referrals, or travel approval.

Happy Birthday Bailey!

My beautiful "short-haired" baby turned 13 years old today! Bailey is my Siberian Husky who I have loved since she was 8 weeks old. I say "short-haired" because I just had her her shaved for the first time ever....I know some say you should not shave a Husky--but she LOVES it!! She seems so much happier now....

She is my constant companion and I cannot wait to introduce her to my daughter! Of course, Bailey will probably not be too thrilled since she won't be the "#1 baby" anymore---yikes!

Anyways, Happy 13th Birthday--you are a teenager now (in people years at least). 91 in doggy years-wow!

There is nothing cuter than baby fingers and baby toes!!! Oh I can't wait to kiss all over them!!!!

Fortune Cookie Day!!

Today is May 21, 2009...fortune cookie day. Back on Feb. 21 I had Chinese food with my parents to celebrate the new adoption and my fortune said that 3 months from that day something good would happen! IT DID!!

Today is 3 months from that date and sure enough something good did happen. I received 5 new pictures--yay!!!

God is moving those mountains!

God is at work. I have always know this. I still know it. I am a true believer and I have always felt His love, His work, His presence.

But, I really feel it these days! I'm bursting with love!

Fortune cookie prediction?

I went with my family to eat Chinese food on Saturday, Feb. 21.
My fortune cookie stated:
"Remember three months from this date. Good things are in store for you."

That would be May 21. Hmmmm......
